My niece and the rest of my New Jersey family descended upon Manchester Vermont for her fall wedding. We rented this quintessential New England cottage and had a lovely time. It not only met but exceeded all of our expectations! Plenty of space inside and out …. very comfy for the four adults who stayed there.

Overall not what we expected. It was on a busy road, which we didn't expect -- but conveniently located near town. Biggest issue was the musty smell, which we couldn't get rid of because the downstairs windows wouldn't open. Smell seemed to come from the wood on the front porch and was so bad that the other couple with us left after the first night because of allergies. Also, as previously mentioned, the stairs are very steep with no railing. Bathrooms have nice updates and it was great to have access to a laundry. Porch is also a nice place to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine at night.

We rented this cute cottage because we had a family wedding at Levity mountain. Perfect location. 10 min from where we needed to be! Great location to town! Very quiet. Well Stocked. Nice having 2 full bathrooms! Very clean! Loved the screened porch. Would highly recommended

We were in town for a family wedding. The location was ideal for having quick access to stores, restaurants and the wedding festivities. Surrounding mountain views were breathtaking along the road close to the cottage. The sitting spot by the Battenkill River across the street from the property was a real treat. The cottage was neat, clean and well equipped with anything you would need while away from home. We would stay here again.

Very comfortable for a group that included a college aged niece and nephew we didn’t know well and had room for a family brunch where we added my daughter, son in law and grandson without feeling crowded. Having a full bathroom on both floors was a plus. Note—stairs to upstairs bedrooms fairly strep and narrow

We were in Manchester for a family wedding and the cottage worked perfectly for us. It was close to all of our events, there was plenty of space, it was right next to the Battenkill for easy fishing access and the kitchen even had sharp knives! Thank you, Joyce!

We stayed here because we were working a wedding at Hildene and the location could not have been more perfect. We didn't spend much time in the home, but for the hours that we did use it to sleep, it was very comfortable and accomodating!

We stayed at this cottage during our first visit to the Vermont Summer Festival. It was perfect for our family of 4. The location was close to the horse show and around the corner from town. The creek out front gives the perfect ambiance coupled with the surrounding mountains! The hosts were wonderful to communicate with. We definitely plan on staying here again!

adorable free standing cottage, well supplied, dog allowed, easy to find and enter. We were close to 4 ski areas so went a different place every day. There was nothing the house didn't have that we needed. We will stay there again.

We had relatives in from out of state and wanted to visit Vermont. We found this great cabin with comfortable accommodations and plenty of area to socialize. It was very fully equipped and very clean. A little ways from the main road but no more than two miles from the center Of Manchester. Highly recommend this property.

We stayed here while attending a wedding at the Equinox. The location is perfect. It's close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. The cottage is super clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. The screen porch is lovely and the yard was great.

Cozy, comfortable and clean! Our hosts Joyce and John were easily accessible VRBO messaging, and phone if needed. They gave detailed and clear directions for entry and amenities. Nice sun room, and spacious yard, but unfortunately it rained all weekend so our use of those features was limited. The rooms are small, but there were two separate sitting rooms for those who wanted to watch TV, and those preferring to read or converse. Two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. Wide driveway for parking up to three vehicles. Only 5 minutes drive to the center of Manchester. In general our stay was very comfortable!

We enjoyed our stay at the Manchester cottage. There was plenty of room for the four of us. The cottage was well stocked with all the supplies we needed. The location was perfect, close to town. Joyce was quick to reply with any questions we had.

My husband and I spent 2.5 weeks at this cottage. One highlight is the screened porch where I spent every morning drinking coffee and listening to the Battenkill River. A wonderful way to start the day. The kitchen is small but well-equipped. I was able to move things around to make room for what we brought. As mentioned in another review, the stairs are a bit steep but the railing is sturdy and the steps are carpeted so no issue for us. It was nice having two living areas. The beds are OK but could have been firmer. Not a deal-breaker. The location of the cottage allows you to go into town from two different directions and bypass the traffic.
