Some of the fruits they left at the room were completely rotten and full of fungi, apparently because they put back the uneaten fruits, -guest after guest- till consumed (according to hotel personnel a talk about it), with no cleaning in between whatsoever. Then they tried to dismiss this by saying it was an isolated event; nevertheless, the next morning I randomly went to one of the in-site restaurants and after serving me some slices of fruit at the buffet I noticed they were also rotten and full of fungi. Besides, some of the hot meals offered were at room temperature, meaning they had not been cooked that very same day, and without heat or refrigeration to preserve them.
In addition, most of the pringles chips packages they left at the room day after day were very rancid, making them inedible.
This strongly suggests this hotel recycles the unconsumed food, with no proper hygienic measures at all and with no measures to assure guests are not offered rotten food; thus, putting in serious risk the health of the consumers.
To add insult to injury, some of the personnel at the lobby treated me like a beggar or second-class guest when I came talking to them in Spanish; however; that was not the case when they talked to white Spanish speaking guests or when I talked to them in English.
