Nothing was clean, I had to go buy cleaning supplies and spent 3 hours scrubbing floors and disinfecting. The queen mattress sank in the middle and had to be flipped over. There were only 3 towels provided. The pull out bed mattress and cover were stained and had a bad odor, I had to drive to aNe

Review

Unfortunately, the place was dirty and had a horrible smell. I had to go out and buy cleaners to clean all the services before use and re-wash dishes by hand. The smell was so bad we had to go by candles and let them. The fireplace did not work! I tried to find a different spot for our stay but was unable to find somewhere else with an opening or we would have checked out.

I had read some reviews that it went. It wasn’t as clean as some guest had liked, but for the price I was willing to risk it. It was horrible! First of all when you walked into the building, it smelled like weed and it was that way. The whole couple of hours we were there .There was dog hair all over the floor. The dishwasher was covered in grime. There was grime all over the ceiling, and the kitchen smelled like pee. We decided not to stay and when I asked for a refund of some sort all I got back was 30 after spending money for a three night booking. Horrible company, who obviously does not care about their reputation.

Good

I gave some 4 stars just because the building and furniture are old but there is clean and so easy to check in and out. And so easy to communicate online with someone who help you. They provided for all our needs during our stay to the smallest detail. That's nice.

Good bargain. Great ocean views and sounds

Nice stay, mostly sleeping. Enjoyed hanging out in the living room and balcony. Great ocean views and sound of the surf. We would stay there again. Budget accomodations with view.

Beautiful view

The apartment smelled AMAZING when we arrived. It was very clean. I was nervous seeing other reviews; they did a fantastic job, only one hiccup with a sheet in a fold-away couch, and they IMMEDIATELY wanted to come out and fix it. Fantastic service. We had horrible neighbors, and the communication with VACASA dealing with them was amazing. I can truly say how they handled everything and how good the communication was, I would not even think twice about staying in another VACASA home. They were great.

Parking is a nightmare!

I loved my view from the balcony. What i didnt like was that when we got there the space wasn't totally clean, i had to call and ask to have them finish cleaning it. Then some random couple cane into our condo thinking it was theirs and was told it was cleaning crew thinking we had checked out when in fact that wasnt the case. Then had to have maintenance come into our room to do work because i guess the shower was leaking into the bottom condo. There was no ac option in the room at all or any fans. Other than that it was good.

You get what you pay for

The location is great with a view. This was on the cheaper end so wasn't expecting the Ritz or anything. The dishes in the cupboards were dirty and needed rewashing. The bed in the main bedroom is dreadfully uncomfortable, especially for two. I ended up going to sleep on the lower bunk in the second room which was actually really comfy. It is very sparsely furnished and low on supplies but if ok for the price. We were there for work so stayed two weeks in a row. Only there to sleep and have evening meal.

Nice vacation

The good: Quick walk to the beach, great location overall. Sleeps six, if you count the pullout couch Good kitchen, enough equipment to make simple meals work. Big bathroom, shower only. Bring Poo Spray. Easy check in/out, super clean property Pet friendly. We had a small, crate trained dog and it was perfect. This is an older beach rental for about 100 bucks a night, that takes pets and doesn’t make you scrub it before you leave. Adjust expectations accordingly. The surprises: NO soundproofing- you can hear everything both in and out of the apartment. The guy in the space next to us seriously needs a sleep study I STG he has sleep apnea. Hot water takes a long time to arrive. If the couch is open, very little room to navigate. Not a deal breaker, but if you don’t want to wake the people sleeping on the couch plan for no access to the balcony until they’re up. No AC - the sun sets right into the front room and that space got hot if the glass door was shut. The bedrooms were stifling no matter what, BUT we were there in August. I’m sure it’s no biggie most of the year, but with climate change summers are going to suck forever into the future, so bring a fan or two when it’s warm. You can smell whatever anyone cooks in their unit. One person made blackened salmon - yum! Another person…boiled chum? I don’t know but it was rough. The Poo Spray can do double duty. Overall: Good rental for beach access/base camp for exploring the area.

Room with a view

We really enjoyed our stay. I was traveling with 83 yr old mother and 23 yr old daughter. Room was Salmon 2B. Great view of the ocean, room was clean. Only complaints if you call it that, the sitting chair was a wicker chair, wouldn't be a big deal, but I am 6'5 350lbs. Real chair from pic would have been nice. Fireplace didn't work, but wasn't needed...just wanted some ambiance.lol
