"Very nice and clean old-style Hawaiian home in rural area. It is very private and quiet although it is likely you will hear the resident fowl and frogs. It is very close to a number of historic sites, beaches, and hikes--and interesting country roads. A few stores in Hawi and Kapuu have coffee and other snacks (and local art) and there is a nearby grocery. If you are looking for "off the beaten path" this place should be on your list. "

"Hard to visualize it with the pictures. The layout is perfect for where it is. We saw a family wild pigs on the property. Love the town it’s in too. Definitely expect some bugs and geckos in the cabin (but very few in the bedroom itself). Dryer was out of gas but Marc was very responsive and found us a solution. "
