ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE DO NOT BOOK FALSE ADVERTSIMENT
This was the worst experience I've ever had with booking a VRBO. The host was very rude and deceiving. I got an email saying that our code will be available at check in. I fly in late and still do not get the code, after contacting the host she told me that she has messaged me that there was no furniture in the house. I checked all my messages there was no communication and this was a blatant lie. I did not need a code to get in the house, because the door was kicked in and I was able to get in the house without the key. When we got in, the home had no furniture in both of the living rooms and the rooms did not match the pictures, curtains were gone and the room looked tattered and dirty. I called about the lock and that I felt unsafe to stay there and the host said they were not going to be able to help us until the next day. This was midnight and we decided to stay and use some chairs to block the door. In the morning we wake up to take a shower and there is no hot water. The host was unresponsive and we were left scrambling to find another place. The host Karen was extremely rude when I requested a refund and told me that I was out of the 30 day cancellation period and was out of luck. I am still going back and forth with VRBO book with Confidence department to get a refund and am very frustrated with how they handle this. Stay away from this place.
