Perfection

Hosts answered questions in a timely manner and were a joy to talk to. The apartment was just the right size. A quiet quaint neighborhood with stores and restaurants not too far away. Highly recommended!! Garden of the Gods is a must see!!

Anniversary weekend

The property was very clean the hot tub and the little garden area in the back were so relaxing. The neighborhood was quiet and Judy was a great host. We got a chance to say hello to you while we were there. It was nice to meet you. I will recommend your place to anyone who just wants a quiet getaway. Great gateway to Shawnee

We were traveling with our 1 and 4 year olds and had a great stay - our 4 year old was bummed we had to leave so soon! The house was well stocked, spacious enough for our crew, and the yard was by far the best part - we spent most of our time out there. We were in town to do some hiking in Shawnee nearby and it was the perfect distance away. We hope to be back!

Charming and cozy!

We loved staying at this quaint home. The garden is absolutley beautiful, great location to access downtown restaurants, and perfect base camp for exploring the Shawnee National Forest. Hot tub was a fun added bonus!

Garden of the Gods Home

This location is a great place to stay for those who are exploring the Shawnee National Forest. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking the Gardens of the Gods. The house is located next to several great restaurants. 10/10 stay!

Charming in town getaway

Cozy lil apartment was great for an anniversary getaway, hot tub was a great addition for nice relaxing evenings. The bikes were a treat to ride around town for sightseeing or visiting the coffee shop. Would definitely book it again for a future stay.

Wonderful!!

The hosts were so welcoming and the apartment was perfect for our family. The bikes were great and able to use on the bike path. Spent everyday outside at Shawnee and came back to lovely apartment and garden/ hot tub to relax. A fantastic getaway!

Beautiful Property

This was an amazing place to bring my mom and grandmother. I felt much better having the owner close by, in case anything unexpected happened. She was lovely, and everything was so well thought out and convenient. It was such a blessing for us to make memories here

This was a super cute place, a reasonable distance from Garden of the gods and other hiking areas near Shawnee State Park. There are lots of choices for pizza and other things for dinner and breakfast. They have the cutest little area for their hot tub that we definitely enjoyed. Is Hickory place to stay over when you’ve spent the day hiking.

Perfect Spot for Southern IL Weekend Getaway

Our stay was amazing! Harrisburg is in the perfect spot for Shawnee, and Judy’s apartment is the nicest spot in town hands down. The bikes were perfect for a little riding on the Tunnel Hill trail which is a great workout with some scenic views! We were well within driving distance to all the spots we wanted to hit for hiking as well. A bad storm blew through on our second night there at 2 in the morning, and Judy was kind enough to call us when the sirens went off and let us stay safe in her basement until the tornadoes passed. Couldn’t have asked for a better host for a perfect weekend getaway with my fiancée.I would give it a 6/5 if I could!!

Perfect getaway in southern Indiana

We were in town for a wedding and couldn’t have stayed in a better place. Judy was the perfect host! Their place is impeccably decorated for the fall as I’m sure it is for other seasons. She made us feel like part of the family. I wish we were there longer.

A lot of love

It is clear that a lot of love and attention have been poured into this cozy apartment. It has been lovingly decorated (season themed) and has a charming garden with hummingbirds included. The apartment is walking distance to a park with pickleball courts and a nice Italian restaurant (healthy portions and super friendly staff). Thank you for a great stay.!

Delightful getaway

Single parent with 2 teens. They had their own beds and room. The garden patio was amazing! And I relaxed there in private both evening and morning while my teens enjoyed the WiFi in the apartment. We were able to enjoy the hot tub and the robes were a very nice touch! You can tell the owners like to be hospitable and enjoy sharing their space! There were so many small touches that showed their efforts! Thanks!
