Estancia perfecta en Creta

Lovely villa and village

The villa is comfortable and in a quiet location lots of birdsong and fragrant orange trees. We were there “out of season” (mid to end march) so some of the local stores and restaurants were just beginning to open. That meant cooler weather, and fewer places to visit, but also an absence of the summer crowds.

Very nice location; especially outdoors with pool and garden. Friendly and welcoming host; we even found a first set of drinks and breakfast in the villa. Clean-up of pool and rooms every three-days. Gernerally great stay.

Exceptional Property

What a fantastic place to stay. Superb communication with host (Elias) prior to and during stay. There was a food hamper on arrival with wine which was great as we arrived very late in the evening. Villa very spacious with beautiful outdoor courtyard area and spotlessly clean. Lots of character and just a short walk from the village of Margarites which has some lovely ceramic shops and places to eat. Monestary in the village is worth a visit too and we fell in love with the Pomegranate trees. Pool was discreetly cleaned every couple of days. A great base for exploring the central part of Crete with it's dramatic mountain range and beautiful scenery. Rethymno and Panormo great places to visit close by. We would love to re visit.

Beautiful property

Just got back from an amazing week at Blue Paradise! It was exactly as described and the host Elias was so helpful and on hand to answer any questions straight away. Pool was beautiful and cleaned several times during our stay. My boys are age 14 & 17 and loved the place too! Margarites is only a short 10 minute stroll away with some beautiful and very reasonable prices tavernas. We recommend a trip to the water park near Heraklion if you have a car. Overall a fabulous stay!

This villa is everything we wanted, needed and more.

This villa is everything we wanted, needed and more. We stayed as an adult family of 3 for 2 ½ weeks late June into early July. We were greeted by Iannis, who showed us around and answered any questions we had, he’d installed a DVD player for us in advance as we’d asked before we arrived if there was one, and he tended the pool every 2 days before we even made our breakfast!!! Very discreet and quiet service. Iannis and Elias were very quick to respond to any issues and questions we had, the way they looked after us was really good – but ONLY when we needed it. Otherwise, we were left alone to enjoy a well appointed and spacious villa with good outdoor space and everything we needed for entertainment; 3 TVs, large bathroom with jacuzzi, lovely big bedrooms (best holiday sleeps we’ve had!) and a well-equipped kitchen with plentiful utensils and crockery etc. On arrival, the fridge had water, a bottle of wine, conserve, butter, crispbreads and fruit, which was lovely. The washing machine is a good one and cleans well. Outside, the pool is plenty big enough, lovely clover lawn, there is a shower and a great barbecue. 4 sunbeds, 2 easy chairs, great big glass-topped table & chairs under a useful canopy. Highly recommended, best villa we’ve had in 30 years of travelling to Greece.

Great holiday

we spent a wonderful week at Blue Paradise! We were the first holes of the season and we received a friendly welcome from the owner Elyas. The house was clean and very complete and the garden looked magical in the evening. The neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance is a supermarket, nice shops and excellent eateries. In short, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy!

Perfect Villa

We absolutely loved the villa. In a quiet location and a short walk to Margarites, where there was a local shop for amenities and many tavernas and pottery/gift shops. A lovely walk too up to the monastery. The villa itself was perfect. It was clean and Elias provided everything we needed, it was like a home from home. The villa was cleaned twice whilst we were there and Elias was quick to respond to any queries. The pool was great, and we made use of the BBQ too. I highly recommend this villa and would love to return someday A car is required to get around as you are fairly remote. But still close enough to drive to local beaches around 20mins away.

Amazing

The property is a real jewel, secluded with amazing views. Having air con, a pool and Wi-Fi was enough to keep the children happy during a heatwave and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet Cretan holiday. Cleaned regularly and Elias could not be more helpful

Sheer bliss

Fabulous find for a quiet stay away from it all while still within distance of the beach resorts on the North coast. Elias the owner was extremely helpful and the property was cleaned 6 times in 2 weeks each time with a sheet and towel change. You will need a car to get about but a very nice property with an excellent pool too.

Spectacular holiday!

The villa was perfect for our family of 5. Elias met us late and laid on some food and wine wine which was very much appreciated. The pool was used by our children for hours and hours everyday and it was cleaned regularly. You absolutely need a car but everything essential is very close. The villa is private and the air con is quality for the nights. Great communication, the photos tell the true story and I would not hesitate to recommend this property. We had the most amazing family holiday!
