After nearly 7 years of hosting guests here, this is the first time we have ever received a 3 star review. As a proud home owner and premium host, to say that I'm surprised is an understatement... I get that some people prefer modern 'hotel style' places but we've always been clear that this is an original rural farm cottage. No photoshop here! That said... a clean - albeit somewhat dated bathroom - is a world away from 'dirty'. Also there's no way was there grease let alone mould etc. I'm fastidious in my cleaning which I do personally (if anything I'm a bit OCD about it, lol) Plus the climate here's too dry for mould. I always ask guests whether everything is ok while they are here and you said it was... so I find it odd and disappointing to read this misrepresentation about cleanliness after the fact Your review didn't say that I'd set aside time to take your sweet son to feed sheep at 4pm one day but you stood me up with no notice and that I then rescheduled for the morning of your departure. No worries about that, that's how I roll. For people reading this I'd simply say, the way we describe the cottage is accurate, just check out previous reviews and you'll see we have a hard-earned reputation for cleanliness of the cottage as well as location/warm welcome and good communication. Sure we're not Wolgan Valley but then again neither are our rates.
