Nice Place
The house is really very nice and we enjoyed our stay. A few things to note: 1) house is about 20 minutes up the mountain from the main town of Idaho Springs and is fairly remote, 2) if staying during possible snow, make sure you have a vehicle that can handle remote snow conditions, 3) internet and phone service is a bit spotty.

Christmas Cabin Stay
This was a wonderful place to stay for a white Christmas 🙂 The house was decorated beautifully including a Christmas tree which was the best surprise!! My boyfriend and I and our 2 dogs (1 very large, 1 very small) had plenty of space in the home and eveything we needed to stay warm and cozy, the fireplace is definitely a huge plus! We were supposed to have another guest, they could not make it, but there still would have been plenty of room for 3 adults (or more)! The house is very clean and well equipped with any and all cooking/baking/cleaning/toiletry needs that you might have while staying. Before the snow, we were able to hike up the Yankee Hill OHV Road right across the street which had amazing views. Location is also about 20 minutes from Idaho Springs. It was fun hopping into town to check out a couple of breweries. Host was super responsive and helpful with questions. We loved the stay and would definitely book again for any season!

Very Comfortable Stay
This place was a great way to escape for a few days. Everything was very clean and well stocked. The owner has truly thought of just about everything to make people feel at home and in the best of care. It is by a main road and near a few houses. However, inside, you can hear nothing. So quiet! And when you go out on the back deck or to the fire pit near the creek, it feels very secluded, with only the sound of the running water. We walked to the trailhead for St. Mary's Glacier (only 0.4 miles from the cabin) and were able to enjoy the nature, seeing a fox and a weasel on our hikes. Overall, this was a lovely stay and I would highly recommend to others.

Excellent
This was an extremely clean,friendly, flexible and beautiful property. it was also very well stocked for all the little things we forgot. :-) We woke up to 3 deer standing by the sliding glass door in our bedroom. The creek is really close to the house, and if it was a little warmer outside, we would’ve left the door open just to hear it while we slept. Highly recommend! Property owners were very flexible. We will definitely stay here again in the future! The only thing missing was a hot tub :-)

Delightful stay
Everything in listing was offered. House was clean all appliances, working,wonderful view, nice deck with grill and propane fire pit. Great place to sit and listen to the creek run by. Great access to forest service trails.

Great Clean Property
The property is amazing and well stocked. The wifi and tv work for times it was too windy to be outside. The kids enjoyed the creek at the back of the property and spent most of their time there. If you're looking for a clean and well kept property this is the place for you. We even saw a moose and her calf. It did take 20 minutes to get to Idaho Springs, but we enjoyed being away from the town, and planned our days accordingly, so we only had to make one trip each time.

Two miles high (almost)
Our hosts made everything seamless. Great communication in advance of our stay. Check in was super easy. House was very clean, and host was very responsive via VRBO messaging. Lots of amenities. Information book was very helpful. House was at 10,000 feet of elevation (almost two miles) with beautiful views of the Rockies. We hiked up to the nearby glacier, for even more natural beauty. Five stars all the way.

Great Location, Great Setting and Well Stocked
Everything we were looking for in a quick mountain getaway. Probably the best stocked VRBO we have ever been to. The sound of the water 24x7 was a nice change from the everyday.

Great Vacation Home
Beautiful remote location. Property had all the items a group could ever need while staying in the home. No cell service which is fine but the Wi-Fi didn’t work so thankfully no emergency issues.

Wonderful stay!
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful location. The house was great and included everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well-supplied so that we could cook our meals. Tom was very responsive to any questions or needs that we had during out stay. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Great place!
A great place - very clean and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a little far from town (15+ minutes) but it is in a beautiful spot. It is also very close to the glacier. Thanks for a great stay!

This really was an unbelievable retreat. Waking up with the Forest in the backyard was breathtaking. It was a quick drive from Boulder but really felt like we were home away from home. I had never stayed at a VRBO that was fully stocked like this one…I didn’t need to bring 1/2 of the supplies I had packed with me it was unbelievable. It was a perfect retreat to celebrate my daughters 12th birthday.

Unbelievable Interactions
I rented this property as "New traditions" after a divorce of 23 years married, 25 together. I had to send the property manager, Tom Meyers a message explaining we had an emergency and had to leave early and abruptly. I had sheepishly asked for a refund for the time missed, I understood that was not something I could expect. I shared our concerns: We found mold, old and expired food in the refrigerator and two bedrooms had trash on the floor. I had a used tissue in my room. The property was dusty, and the upstairs shower door did not close all the way. The wind was fierce making the doors howl. It had snowed and blew up six-foot-high drifts. We had an appointment to go tubing at noon the following day and had to shovel our way out. I then explained in the communication, that I would just create a review. His response, "Funny. I was just about to refund you. I will forward VRBO all contact with you." I felt like I was being punished and shamed by his thoughts that I was blackmailing him! His response: "Funny, if you had that dignity and honesty, my "bad behavior" wouldn't be of concern and consequence. I'll be happy to share with them." I had never had an experience like this in any professional setting. I contacted VRBO to explain my situation and inquire what the policies and procedures were at this point. Diana explained that there was NOTHING that could be done as VRBO only encourages the owners to do the right things. Many, many phone interactions later, I am still at the mercy of the owner. With no support, I am stuck trying to resolve with the very person who slapped my hands and would not work with me resolving the issues to make it a success. Once I was accused of blackmailing, customer service acknowledged that I did not do that and would support my review by not deleting it! Wow! I am amazed at the procedures I am being informed of. I have not done anything to begin this hardship. If you review the cases and correspondence, you will understand I have done nothing to cause this. The amount of time and effort your company has spent pushing me into a corner ignoring and manipulating this entire issue is unconscionable! When I spend the money I had, I expect reasonable service and support. I was positioned to be embarrassed and humiliated because I referred to my tools in a review of my experience. I wish that someone would have warned me of the immaturity and lack of professionalism that I expect.

Great little escape in the mountains.
This property is nice, tucked away in the mountains but it is more remote than we realized. You have to drive back down to Idaho Springs for food/drinks and whatnot. It’s nice and close to the Glacier, which was great, if you intend on hiking it. We did. ;). Internet is a little spotty, but manageable… how much should you really be on it out there?! The snow and ice packed drive and walkway was a bit rough for unloading and turning around. The back deck was not cleaned off either. Again mountains…. The cabin itself was comfy. There were a lot of items/amenities for cooking. We did miss having a hand mixer. The beds were good, nice fresh linens and all. The bathrooms were stocked with extras too. All in all, this is a nice lil cabin… my friend said she could easily see her bringing her family back there for a nice lil getaway as there was plenty of space and the loft with the twin beds would be perfect for them!

Christmas at St Mary's Glacier
We could not have picked a more spectacular home to stay for Christmas with 3 children. It was magical for them. The house had all we needed and more. The owners thought of every detail you can think of from laundry detergent to deodorant. We didn't expect that and went grocery and necessities shopping before hand. I loved the concept of "take what you need and leave what you don't" so we left what we didn't use for the next guest. Our favorite part of the house were the views. Pictures can't do justice to spending Christmas on top of the Mountain with snow falling. And to our surprised there was a Christmas tree and decor!! It was perfect! Thank you for putting so much effort into every detail of your home. We made memories!!

This home was incredible. We celebrated Friendsgiving here and the home was perfect for our party of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids). The hosts also provided so many extras that you typically dont find, like spare toothbrushes and feminine hygiene products. We felt so welcome and at home here and will definitely stay again.

Loved this cabin it was my second time staying here and absolutely love it! St. Marys glacier trail head is 10min walk from the cabin! The trees off the balcony make for a cool background for pictures!

Nice place for a weekender.
A trip to Idaho Springs is always lovely for a quick and quiet weekender. It’s an easy drive just outside of the metro area with cute places to stay along Fall River Road. The house was nice and cozy and offers beautiful surroundings for a relaxing stay. Just a thought, I found many of the kitchen amenities to be a little worn out and sad. The loft is awesome but without any type of railing, it seems like an accident waiting to happen.

Fabulous weekend
Five moms traveled to Idaho Springs for our annual craft weekend. This house had a fabulous layout for us. It was stocked with everything you might need for your stay. The internet service was a bit spotty and slow, but it was a snowy and very windy weekend. That could have been the cause. We had great contact with the host and would love to return again.

Comfortable beautiful cabin
Tom was super responsive and we’ve stayed twice now in neighboring cabins and everything was perfect. Stocked with everything you need to have a fun relaxing getaway with family. We loved having a nice camp fire by the creek each night.

Perfect Mountain Home
Beautiful home that is comfortable and well appointed. It's a perfect location to visit Red Rocks too. We enjoyed grilling hotdogs by the firepit under the stars. The sound of flowing water from the creek will melt your stress away. There are pristine lakes near by and passes are provided. St Mary's Glacier trailhead is right there!! The owners are very responsive and helpful. You'll love this home away from home.

This worked out great for two couples as there are two king sized beds. Bedrooms are at entry level. Kitchen, second bathroom and living area and are upstairs which makes for better views.

awesome location and comfortable stay
We enjoyed staying in the mountains, the location is right next to small river and in woods. the property was clean and was equipped with everything you can imagine. there is plenty of space for everyone and its very cozy. sometimes there is wifi connection issue, but may be thats due to some technical problem, other than that we recommend staying here.

Could Be Better
The cabin was really nice, but very dusty. The beds were very comfortable. Location is very close to hiking paths. The creek next to the cabin was was also nice and we enjoyed the firepit. We had problems with the AC and the 2nd floor was extremely warm and stuffy. We were not able to leave the second floor patio door open because there was no screen door. The tv signal was constantly going out and the washer and dryer were filthy, with a door handle missing on the dryer. There was no outdoor trash receptacle and we were asked to store all are trash on the 2nd floor patio. Somewhat smelly and unsightly while trying to enjoy the patio. With a few tweaks this cabin could be amazing.

Amazing!
My family and I stayed at this VRBO. We absolutely loved it! Great location! We rented a side by side from a local business. This is the place to stay if you want to ride the trails or go hiking! Recommend 10/10! Will be staying again!
