The property is beautiful and very peaceful/quiet. It sits just outside Fredericksburg and the drive into town is a few minutes down the road. I definitely recommend this place!

Great place to stay. About 8 miles outside Main Street Fredricksburg, which was perfect. Quiet and our place was so cozy, fireplace was great. Very clean. Loved the stay, Will pick this location on our next visit.

The cottage was tastefully decorated with a great bathroom and a comfortable bed. The place was peaceful and quiet, with a nice view. We enjoyed our stay.

Don’t know if it’s because we came in the middle of a change of owners and management , but our stay was now at all like the reviews we read. We were not greeted with a warm welcome. Instructions on how to get in were not clear. The correct instructions were inside! Our cheese tray was ok, but not the freshest and I thought it would be a lot nicer and bigger. I said we were celebrating a birthday, nothing extra was added. The book inside with information had not been updated. Password for Roku was incorrect and we never got the correct one. We were asked to wash all utensils and dishes and return them to their proper place...there is no dishwasher, so I washed anything I used before I used it, and after. You could tell things had not been properly cleaned. I was told there was a drip coffee maker and no toaster. There were two toasters and a keurig coffee maker. The glass top side table between the chairs was broken. The manager took it when she brought us some coffee pods and we never heard back from her. The fountain out front was never turned on. It was dirty inside. The bathroom is the Best feature!! Very spacious and newly remodeled. All in All we enjoyed our stay but it wasn’t perfect.

We had the best stay at The Nest Cottage. It was extremely clean, packed with everything you could possibly need, the bed and pillows were so comfy and check in was easy. We also loved the location. It’s an easy and short 10 minute drive from Main St. But far enough away to feel like you’re out in the country. It’s so peaceful and the views are amazing!!! The only down side to our trip was that a cover was being built over the community grill (which pictures show a grill on every porch). So the metal sawing started at 8 am our first morning there and it was a little awkward trying to have coffee out on the back porch In the mornings with men working feet away. We also couldn’t grill like planned due to them building our whole stay. But it is what it is...unfortunately it was being done during our stay. But we’re still looking forward to our next visit and seeing the new covered area! It’ll just add to the awesomeness. The Nest will definitely now be our go to every time we visit the hill country.

The unit was great & well situated for going back & forth to Fredericksburg & the surrounding countryside. However, the mgmnt. team was uncooperative re: the tv volume. It wasn't corrected during our stay.

This location was the perfect place to spend for the weekend with my mom. We were only 15 mins from the down town but far enough away not to have to deal with tourist stuff.

Best place we’ve stayed in a rental property. Very clean inside, big open living room/bedroom area, and huge bathroom. About 15 minutes from Main Street, but we loved it being away from the city and having more of a country feel. Will definitely stay here when coming to fredericksburg from now on.

I definitely recommend this place to stay if you want a quite adult stay. The bed was so comfy, the bath was really relaxing and the view out our back porch was amazing!

We fell in love with the property! It was just a short drive into town, yet far enough away to really enjoy the scenery! The cottages were perfect! Outfitted with everything we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend! We definitely look forward to our next stay here!

This was mine and my husband's 2nd time to stay at this lovely little cottage and it always exceeds our expectations. The furnishings are beautiful and the home is exactly as pictured. Very nice comfortable bed with luxury linens, plush towels and robes - no detail has been missed! We love the peace and quiet of being outside of town and the view is awesome. Susan is wonderful and very easy to work with and made our stay that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend any of the 3 cabins on the property but The Nest is our favorite.
