A place to sleep… thats it. We were 5 and needed to ask for everything. Poorly stocked, no sheets for sleeper, no detergent, very poor lighting in all rooms. Manager let us know that there was no heat and provided space heaters prior. Old and dated. Paint peeling in bathroom and needs work. When we opened the sofa sleeper, there was trash under the sofa. Front door is very hard to open and it took us 40 minutes to figure out. Door needs to be jiggled while your turning the key. Recommend an update and a good cleaning service. This place is mediocre and really needs an update.

I love this place but...
I drive from Michigan to Colorado to ski most of the winter and I've stayed at Jon's place long-term before. Located down the road from Winter Park, Fraser is a great place to stay while saving a few bucks--transportation is usually a breeze by car and the bus system is great. Jon's place is up the hill from the Safeway grocery store and, being on the second floor, has a private balcony, great views of the mountains and is right across from the clubhouse. Restaurants and nightlife are available in Fraser as well as two miles down the road in the town of Winter Park. This property is an exceptional value for a 2-bed, 2-bath unit. While dated, it is quite spacious with vaulted ceilings and skylights making it seem even larger. There are a few drawbacks that could be easily remedied. Because the non-stick coatings on the pots and pans have eroded, they are not fit for cooking and should be replaced. Also, while superficially clean, a thorough deep cleaning is necessary--don't look under the beds or couches! Also, the contents of the cupboards, cabinets and drawers are haphazard and need to be reorganized. Don't let any of this stop you though unless you are a total neat freak--I love this place!

Affordable for ski weekend
The condo was affordable and worked well for our recent ski weekend. Owner was very responsive. Great location close to the grocery store, restaurants and easy drive to the mountain to ski. Conveniently located across the parking lot from the community clubhouse. We enjoyed the clubhouse amenities, especially the hot tub. Condo is sparsely stocked. Linens and bedding need replacing. Mattress was ok. Less than impressed with the cleanliness. Floors were dirty, and there were used tissues in the master bedroom. Mold stains in shower needs deep cleaning. Acceptable for the price.

Domestic Violence Next Door
There was a domestic violence disturbance NEXT door. A man was yelling, swearing, and throwing furniture off the balcony. Multiple Grand County police officers responded to the situation. The listing did not report that this happens in the next door unit. It was very disturbing for our 7 year old daughter. We reported this Jon. Here is his response. “Get payment from the abusive man. I delivered what I sold you. Your problem is not with me. Your problem is with the abusive man”. If you have children or might be triggered by something like this, I recommend looking at a different option.

We come in as vendors for the Jazz Festival and need to be able to have easy parking for our trailer. We have stayed several years hoping that the place would be updated. Last year, the place had not been cleaned from the previous guest. The plumbing is horrible and there are never any paper towels, hand soap or dish liquid. We would love to grill, again this year, but same as last year, not working. The bathroom shower and toilet are in need of serious repairs. Toilets are heavily stained and should be replaced. Tubs drain slow which is in need of replacing. We have given this place a fair shot however, Jon, the owner needs to make the place decent for guests. Change the stained and old bedding. Change the hard and old towels. (We brought our own) and don’t forget your shower shoes. We were charged more this year and I will absolutely not stay again. I deserve to have some of my money back.
