This clean and well appointed property was the perfect place for our stay to celebrate and spend time with family! The hosts were available and kind and there were so many thoughtful extras provided that made us feel more than at home. We will be back!!!

Our family spent Easter weekend at the lake house. The house was filled with thoughtful extras from our host. Snacks in a welcome basket, lots of appliances, cookware, etc., toiletries in the bathrooms and more.

Really great location on the lake. The neighborhood is a little sketchy but not dangerous or anything like that. The property is as advertised, it's a lake house vacation home in Fox Lake. The host was awesome and communicated well, lots of amenities, above and beyond what you would normally get with most hosts. I really loved the views and outdoor space. The kids loved the entertainment systems, TVs everywhere in the house. Beds were very comfy and the house was very clean. Thanks for letting us stay in your amazing lake house.

Had a wonderful time at this property over President's Day weekend. It was cozy and well-appointed, and the view is amazing, even if it was mostly a snowy frozen lake! We got a nice sunset the last evening. We were provided many amenities like coffee and some snacks, and we had what we needed in the kitchen to make yummy meals. The beds and pillows were great, and the bathrooms were nice. The ice maker line might have been frozen, but there were ice cube trays and it was fine. Having the big brita dispenser in the refrigerator was perfect, too.Thanks for having us!

We were so grateful to have such a convenient and well supplied home for our family to stay in. Many of us came from multiple states to honor our matriarch and everyone stopped by at some point to come and see our wonderful accommodations that we were bragging about! Thank you for all the thoughtful little things that really made a big impact!

Our family gathered in this lovely home. It is the best VBRO that we have stayed in! The place was clean and fully stocked with such great things. It felt like we were staying with relatives rather than in a rental home. The kitchen has all of the pots, pans, silverware, plates, spices, coffee, and snacks that you could want. And the bathrooms have all the things that you might forget.And so many activities to do. It was winter time so we could not take advantage of the kayaks on the lake. But the jigsaw puzzles and the games that were available really helped us during our times of being in the house.

We truly enjoyed our five night stay at this Chain O'Lakes jewel. Everything was perfect, from the well-appointed kitchen to the corn hole pitch and the lovely outdoor living room complete with net curtains to keep the bugs at bay. There were so many little extra touches that made the stay even more memorable. Plus we had a blast puttering around in the TriToon. Five stars all the way!

The property was in very good shape and very well equipped. As advertised, right on the lake and in the center of Fox Lake recreation region. Stores and dining within short drive or walk. Nearby public park that features summer Friday concert series. We had a great time evenings by the fire pit, picking dinner options, taking a boat out for a day. We had 6 adults total for most of the 10 days we were there, and didn't feel crowded. Easy parking right outside for 3 cars, a 4th would fit too. Kitchen is well equipped you shouldn't need to bring anything, outdoor gas grill. Beach towels, some outdoor toys, kayaks, outdoor and indoor board games. We brought our own firewood, but there was some there. Nice outdoor porch sitting and dining area. For locals, the Chicago Metra train stop is 1/2 mile away, it made getting all of us there easier.

Our family of eight recently enjoyed the perfect getaway at a stunning lake house, and it was an experience we will cherish forever. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty and charm of the house and its surroundings. The house itself was nothing short of amazing. Spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed, it quickly felt like a home away from home. The deck was a favorite spot for all of us, providing a serene setting to relax, enjoy meals, and take in the breathtaking views of the lake. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible sunsets. Each evening, we gathered on the deck to watch the sky transform into a masterpiece of colors, reflecting off the calm waters of the lake. It was a magical experience that brought us all closer together. The fire pit was another fantastic feature. We spent our nights gathered around the fire, roasting marshmallows, sharing stories, and simply enjoying each other's company. It was the perfect way to end each day, with the warmth of the fire and the peaceful sounds of nature surrounding us. On Friday night, we ventured to the nearby park and were delighted to find a band playing live music. It was a wonderful surprise that added an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip. We danced, sang along, and created memories that will last a lifetime. Overall, our stay at the lake house was everything we had hoped for and more. It was the perfect setting for our family to relax, reconnect,

My siblings and our spouses enjoyed a fabulous week at Kirk & Laura's fantastic home. The house is well stocked with everything, the Welcome Book provides excellent and thorough information to ensure our stay was perfect, check in and check out couldn't have been easier, loved being able to rent their pontoon boat, really appreciated the 2 kayaks, and lawn games. The location is excellent with stunning views and great living spaces (in and out) for the whole group. Highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The location was fantastic, centrally located to absolutely everything you could need. The hosts were wonderful, very attentive. Checked in on us when a huge storm was coming through to make sure we stayed safe. The house was equipped with absolutely everything we could think of. Can't wait to stay here again!

Property is better than described in listing - there is nothing that needs to be added or improved. It’s a perfect location on the lake and close to many restaurants and bars. Also, great for children and pets. Kirk and Laura were very responsive and communicative which we appreciated. We look forward to returning when the weather warms up.
