Comfy ski resort, good off-season value
Great base for summertime fun in the Rockies just over an hours drive from Denver. Very helpful and accommodating management Spacious unit (#104 on the first floor) but not designed to accommodate more than two adults (even with sofa bed in living area). You must walk thru the bedroom to the one and only (very small!) bathroom. But closet space is generous with floor to ceiling wooden built ins for everything you could possibly drag with you. Good bed (King) decent linens (altho I prefer a duvet to the quilt and blanket provided.) Kitchen is well-equipped and easy to use with exception of oddly placed convection ovens (too high, too low , for my achey old shoulders and knees) shared laundry, dated machines. That said, Foxpine Inn has a friendly relaxed vibe in the summertime - you can do a lot or a little and have a great time either way. Ideal location for hiking and biking and dining . (Frisco, Breckenridge, Silverthorne. Vail. And Avon and more, just a short drive away) we will come back!
