Beautiful and Relaxing getaway

We have been going to blue ridge area for the past 6 years or more for our anniversaries and this house and location was great. We enjoyed the outside fit pit, the swing, and listening to the river. My husband definitely enjoyed some fly fishing in the river.

Fall in Blue Ridge

Overview of Our Experience

Very nice property; good fishing; quiet; house had everything needed. Cell phone reception was poor. I had no service through Verizon. Neighbor was not friendly. Told us we could not go on her property or fish the river behind her house. I did not learn there was a new contact and keyless entry change until a few days before I was to leave for the property, which created some confusion. Many local restaurants in Blue Ridge area are closed on two or three week days. Overall we enjoyed our time there and would return.

Relaxing ecpetience

This property is absolutely beautiful. It’s so relaxing to sit out by the river and have a fire in the fire pit at night. The cabin is spacious and has everything you need! We hardly left the site while there. You just don’t want to leave! We will definitely return!

The Perfect Relaxing Get Away

This place is amazing and we didn't want to go home! Everything was clean and well maintained. The hot tub worked great and we used it every day that we were there. We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the view of the river. We tried fishing but didn't have much luck. My family was looking for a relaxing spring break vacation and this place was it. I highly recommend it.

Great cabin but unable to reach owner

We enjoyed our stay however we did have a few minor issues and were unable to get a response from the property contact . The power went out twice while we were there , the ice machine on the fridge is not working . We placed phone calls and text messages via the contact info we were given and did not get a response.

Property beautiful/management terrible

The property was beautiful with a few repairs needed. Being on the water was amazing. The cabin was overall clean, but had some hair in the shower upon arrival with a few other things that needed cleaning. I tried to contact the Evolve team before arrival with a question through phone, text and email and all I ever got was “sorry can’t talk right now” through an automated text. We never heard back from them. There was no welcome book so we never were able to access Wi-Fi (there says there is a Welcome book with that information). Overall, a wonderful cabin on a peaceful property!

Blue Ridge Getaway

Cabin is in a great setting right on the Toccoa River. Cabin only around 5 years old - built in 2018. There were a few items from the photos on the website that were inaccurate. There is no outdoor fire pit. The hot tub does not get hot - unusable. The outdoor fireplace on the porch is not safe to use. The fire brick on the back side of the hearth are cracked and falling out. Had to put some brick back in place during stay. Several items inside are in need of repair - cabinet handles in bottom bath coming off - garbage pullout in kitchen - one drawer would not stay closed in kitchen - upstairs shower had no cover on the window. The direct tv was reliable. However, the wifi is Hughes Net and is slow at best. We found the sheets on both king beds were wet when we arrived like they were taken out early from the dryer. We were drying sheets at midnight on the first night. No response from contact as he was notified of the above items on the 2nd day of our 4 day stay.

Decorated beautifully for christmas

Overall it was a nice experience. The cabin was decorated beautifully for the holidays including a Christmas tree. Close to downtown. Check in was a breeze. Things to consider, there is zero Wi-Fi. To check messages or voicemail we had to leave the cabin. Appliances took forever to cook anything, including microwave. Hot tub was warm but was not working. Overall though it was a nice getaway.

Toccoa river cabin

Beautiful cabin. Cabin was clean, only few minor problems. Few outlets didn’t work, hot tub jets don’t work and WiFi is horrible. But for the cabin life it was awesome. Steep roads leading to property, after it snowed everyone was trapped on that side of the mountain and had to wait until the snow/ice melted, so make sure to have plenty of groceries if snow is in the forecast for your stay.

House cleaner was still cleaning at 5:00 and needed 45 more minutes-check in was at 4 No blinds on the upstairs shower, the entire street can see you take a shower-I texted the property mgr with no response. Great location, clean, safe

Perfect for a girls weekend!

We loved the place and enjoyed Blue Ridge. Would definitely stay there again. Only complaint, the towels smelled sour and that is not the owners fault. I would recommend this place to anyone!
