Accommodation was nice and comfortable. Was a long way from reception and facilities. More suited to 4WD vehicles as car access is very steep and uneven in places. Not easy to get around so not suited for older people or those with mobility issues. A little bit of wind brought branches down on the roof a number of times disturbing sleep over night. It was nice being in the bush setting but this facility is not for everyone

Excellent villa, cafe and pub, swimming pool on site, Armed was fabulous from the moment we checked in, anything we needed he was there. Also serving in the cafe his service was exceptional, we were unsure on how to work aircon Armed came within minutres minutes to help us out. Nothing was a problem to him.

Quiet property. Clean and easy parking. Spacious room. Property has cafe. There is no microwave, crockery or cutlery provided. Also no hairdryer provided. Still it’s a nice place.

We liked the location and every interaction with the staff from the bar person (female and Male), the waitress were all extremely professional and friendly. The food in the restaurant was very good

The property is rather old and the rooms are in need of renovation but saying that they are comfortable and quiet. The air conditioning is dodgy and the draining in the old tiny bathrooms is bad but it is good value for money if you just need somewhere to sleep if you are passing through. Not a great idea if you are on holidays though as it has that "old motel" feel.

The rooms are spacious and the property is very clean. Staff was super friendly and you can grab a meal easily on their property pub.

Disappointing. Room did not have hot water. Manager said to wait half an hour. Still no hot water after an hour and a half. Electrician called , possums get into cupboard and chew wires. Ended up moving room to other side of hotel to get a shower.

Unfortunately, the wifi didn’t work in our room for the two nights we were staying, they did though move our parents to a different room so that they had wifi access. Not the cleanest toilet or bedside But the staff were lovely.

The room was nice, quite a few spuders however. Although its probably a given being in the bush. Communication could between staff members couls have been better. I called and asked to check in earlier, which was fine in the end. However when i arrived i was told i couldnt check in till 2pm. I had to explain eevrything agin and that i was going to a wedding. I also mentioned my partner was arriving a few hours after me and will need a second key for the room. The staff member on duty when he arrived had no idea and wouldnt give him a key. I had to call and sort it out.

A hidden gem!!
Quick overnight stay with the family and we were very impressed! Not the most modern villas, the fitout is actually quite retro, but super clean, neat and tidy and very comfortable. Had dinner at the pub and breakfast at the cafe and the food at both places was OUTSTANDING! Pub staff were super helpful and friendly and the courtesy bus into Avoca was fantastic thanks to our driver Nicole! Will definitely return, would be an awesome venue for a group gathering/party.

My only negative about the hotel and my stay was the shower. Most of the bathroom floor was wet which could be dangerous for older people or young ones

Such a gorgeous place to stay with everything you need in the one place and close proximity to tourist attractions. Excellent food and service at both dining options. Very affordable and perfect for families.

Property location is real bushland. You are living in the middle of Aussie outback. Evening staff are not that helpful. Amit was super star. Tennis and BBQ are too far from rooms but maybe closer if you book a full apartment or hut.

Accommodation suited our holiday plans really well. Full kitchen and laundry facilities give good options. The on site restaurant is great. Sad to see that economic times have made it hard to keep all the assets up to scratch. The bush environment is wonderfully relaxing.
