Adorable Abode

We really enjoyed our stay with great communication from owners and centrally located in West Texas! Clean and well appointed for an easy stay. We enjoyed cooking in a couple of nights and had everything we needed. With the car port the rental car stayed safe from the hail storms that rolled through. Thanks Again!!

Wonderful little place. We enjoyed the area. Used the hot tub on the final night. Made a trip to Marathon for BBQ and visited Post Park. Would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable and charming

Perfect property to relax. Local memorabilia and historic items used in decorating very cool. Outdoor fireplace and hot tub with cafe table and chairs made visiting a dream. Open kitchen and living area made meals and lounging with family easy. All furnishings comfortable and thoughtful. We would stay here again!

Nice place in nice/quiet neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a legit 2-bedroom/2-bathroom. It is very well redone inside. The kitchen/living room area is open and spacious. There was plenty of room for all the things we brought with us. The king bed in the master bedroom is comfortable. The master bath has a tub/shower combo. The tub seems a little bigger than standard and there is plenty of room for showering. The second bathroom has a standup shower that was a little smaller than I would like, but it wasn’t objectionable. Not really an issue. I assume the bed in the second bedroom is as comfortable as the bed in the master as we did not sleep in there. Plenty of outlets for our charging needs. The hot tub works well and was very relaxing after a long day at the park. The area is quiet, and I mean, real quiet, which was important. If we ever find our way out here again, we would definitely stay there.

Dog-friendly base for Big Bend National Park visit

Comfortable, well-stocked rental for a day trip to Big Bend National Park. Eclectic ranch/southwestern decor is interesting & relaxing. Fenced backyard for our fur kid to stretch his legs was nice to have after long car ride. Restaurants, galleries, etc. in Alpine are convenient, although not close enough to walk. Helpful, friendly communications with owners.

Great house in beautiful West Texas

Very nice house, decorated with style and tastefulness, and stocked with what you need. Good quality appliances, dishes, etc. We spent a lot of time enjoying the hot tub and hanging out in the main living space. Host was very responsive and helpful!

Nice place!

I ended up ill and unable to go, but my husband enjoyed his time at the location, it was close to the wedding festivities he was attending, and clean, nicely decorated. He did not get to use the hot tub out back but it was clean.If we head out that way again will rebook.

Great West Texas stay

Everything was as described. Kitchen was fully stocked. Comfy beds. Cool furnishings. Backyard was amazing and hot tub is nice touch. Great place to stay and day trip around West Texas. Host was very responsive. We will be back!

We love Casa Acero!

This is our second year to rent this wonderful home. It is perfectly appointed with everything you need. Plus this year they added a hot tub! We spent every evening by the outdoor fireplace after a day in the area. Derek is quick to respond to you if you have forgotten to bring something! We will stay again! It’s like home!

Quiet, cozy, clean, and comfortable

This was a perfect house for our short stay in Alpine. Everything was very clean and tidy. My kids enjoyed the decor of the house! Instructions for check in and out were clear and easy. The owners were great with communicating as well. Neighbors seemed nice and neighborhood was quiet. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would choose to stay here again if we visit again.
